At FBCNorco we long to equip and undergird our marriages with a solid understanding of God’s desire and purpose for marriages. The marriage relationship, founded as a covenant between a man and a woman before God and family and friends, is the foundational relationship for a healthy and joyful family. These healthy and joyful marriages and families then extend out into the world to display the Gospel of Jesus Christ, namely displaying Christ’s relationship with the Church. Therefore, our church has built a foundational and practical ministry where marriages can grow and thrive to become more holy and to display the infinitely glorious truth of how Christ interacts with and loves His bride the Church.
The Marriage Sunday School class meets sporadically throughout the year during designated times in the Fellowship Hall from 11:45am to 1:00pm. This class is for anyone who is interested in building biblically shaped marriages through relevant studies and relationships, even those who are currently single, engaged, or in a dating relationship. This class reads and engages relevant material on marriage as well as core biblical texts and themes. We also build biblical marriages and relationships by enjoying candid and honest relationships with each other. Those who attend and come ready to both share and listen should walk away with biblical foundations and practical tools for their relationships, marriages, and close friendships that will seek to press them toward Christ.
